Workshop Battery Replacements and Repairs

At our offices we have the equipement and the expertise to carry out a complete test of your UPS. Once we have found the fault we can carry out component level repairs and replace the batteries. Finally we re-calibrate the UPS and ship the unit back to you.

We offer two workshop service options. The details for both options are listed below. if you are having problems with your UPS please give us a call so that we can advise on the best option for you to take.

Charge-UPS Ex

This is APC′s hassle free service solution. Some features include

• Full UPS test
• Battery Replaced by trained technicians
• Charger Circuit Modification
• Component Level Repair
• Full parameter re-Calibrtion
• 2 Year Factory Warrantee on the UPS and Batteries (same as new UPS Warrantee)

Please note yor UPS must be less than 6 years old and that blown inverters are not included in the Charge-UPS Ex services.

EI Battery Service

This service was developed by Electronic Innovations from our years of UPS repair experience. Some features include

User Swappable Battery Packs

The batteries within a UPS steadily degrade over time. Whether the UPS is in service or not, after a couple of years the batteries will need to be replaced. This degradation causes the gradual loss of expected run time up to the point were the UPS can no longer hold it's load for even a short period of time. If you know that this is the only problem with your UPS and you are capable of replacing the batteries yourself you may purchase one of the following service options to refurbish your UPS. RBC

This is an APC supplied battery pack. It comes complete with APC approved batteries, any needed wires and connectors and a 1-year warranty on each Replacement Battery Cartridge.

EI Battery Pack

We will supply APC approved batteries for any UPS Make, Model or Age. The batteries are kept in stock so that you can get a hold of them in a hurry. Electronic Innovations has actively researched and tested the batteries we sell to make sure we stock the best UPS batteries available. This option is the most economical way to refurbish a UPS.

Electronic Innovations will dispose of your old batteries in an environmentally friendly way if you return them to us.

Please note that Electronic Innovations strongly recommends the Workshop based services due to the re-calibration and testing which we carry out.

Onsite Battery Replacements and Repairs

If you can't get your UPS to our workshop then we can come to you. This option is popular for clients who don't want to power down their UPS or for situations were the UPS is in a hard to remove location. We can test, replace the batteries and re-calibrate the UPS without removing power.
