We are Electronic Innovations, an industrial electronic engineering company in Brisbane, Australia.
Since 1981 we have repaired, designed and manufactured electronics for manufacturing, mining and utilities customers across Queensland and interstate. Our focus is simple: diagnose the fault properly, repair at component level where it makes sense, and get production running again.
What We Do
Electronic repair — onsite and workshop repairs, including emergency breakdown support, with a store of electronic components on hand
Variable speed drives and industrial controls — fault-finding, repair and commissioning across many brands
PCB and control board repair — component-level work when replacement boards are expensive, obsolete or unavailable
Design and manufacturing — custom electronics when the right part doesn’t exist, or when a safer, more reliable redesign is needed
UPS sales and service — batteries, preventative maintenance and repair for small and large UPS systems

Our Team
Ross Pink — Director
Ross founded Electronic Innovations and built its technical reputation from the ground up. With an electronic engineering degree and postgraduate qualifications in automatic control, he has been the driving force behind the company’s most important innovations for decades. Customers and colleagues alike still turn to him when a problem needs the deepest level of insight — he remains the sharpest technical mind in the business.
Daniel Pink — Director
Daniel brings a rare mix of mechanical engineering, hands-on electrical trade training, and business leadership. After years on the tools and onsite with customers, he now steers the company day to day — making sure complex jobs are scoped properly, delivered well, and backed by the workshop strength EI is known for.
Michael Smart — Service Technician
Michael is a qualified electrician with a wealth of industrial field experience — and the ability to move from site work into electronics design when the job demands it. Comfortable commissioning and fault-finding in live plant environments, he also develops custom PLC and microcontroller solutions. When something needs sorting out on the customer’s floor, Michael is often the person who gets it done.
Kieren Johnston — Service Technician
Kieren combines a full electrical trade background with a newly completed electrical engineering degree — practical skill backed by rigorous technical training. He spends most of his time onsite, where that combination matters: diagnosing real-world faults quickly and getting equipment back into production.
Lachlan Gordon — Electronics Specialist
Lachlan is the workshop specialist behind many of EI’s board-level successes. With a mechatronics degree, he leads the majority of our in-house PCB repairs and designs a large share of the custom boards we build. When a board is obsolete, damaged, or simply not good enough, Lachlan is the one who works out how to fix it — or redesign it.
Bianca Guz — Office Manager
Bianca keeps Electronic Innovations running smoothly. From the first phone call through invoicing and job tracking, she makes sure customers get clear communication and the team stays organised. Behind every well-run repair job is someone coordinating the detail — that’s Bianca.
Margaret Clark — Administration
Margaret shares front-office duties with Bianca, so customers are looked after whenever they call or visit. She helps keep the day-to-day administration moving — the phones, paperwork and coordination that sit behind every repair job — and is part of the friendly, capable first point of contact for Electronic Innovations.
Bruce Fraser — Service Technician
Bruce is one of EI’s longest-serving team members and a deeply capable technical problem-solver. Based in the workshop, he brings years of hard-won experience to complex repairs — the kind of quiet expertise that keeps difficult jobs moving and customers’ equipment returning to service.
